Argyll Web Design may change the terms and conditions without notice at any time to reflect changes in the business. Please make sure you are viewing the latest terms and conditions at all times.

1) Quotes

All quotes from Argyll Web Design are valid for a period of 30 days. All quotes are free of charge.

2) Lead Times

All lead times on the completion of your quoted items are dependant on the swift provision of content and material as required and specified within the quote. Any delays as a result of failing to provide text and other media as specified are acknowledged as responsible to the client. Any delays therefore are not the responsibility of Argyll Web Design.

3) Copyright

All photography, templates, graphics and other media are licensed to the client. As a client you purchase a time unlimited license to the items supplied as long as your domain name and hosting reside with Argyll Web Design. Copying, distribution and extended use of the content supplied without our expressed permission may result in legal action.

4) Contract Agreement

No contract exists until we receive confirmation of your chosen package or products. Email and standard letter are both legally binding and confirmation by either of these methods is required.

5) Testing

All our products and services are exhaustively tested. The final product supplied to you must be tested by you. In the unlikely event that a function or page is not working at that time Argyll Web Design accepts no responsibility for loss of trade.

6) Accessibility

All our sites conform to the minimum accessibility guidelines optimised and tested for Internet Explore (6 and above) and Mozilla Firefox although will work on most if not all browsers including the latest mobile handset devices.

7) Updates

All updates to the template sites will be provided free of charge for the lifetime of the product (excluding customer content such as text and images changes).

8) Analytics

All sites will be set up with Google Analytics to gather data and help you, the customer manage your web site better and make changes to help your site improve overall search rankings.

A single read only account will be set up for you to monitor your web site performance using Google Analytics.

9) Cancellation

You may up to 7 days from confirming the purchase of a package or products cancel without penalty (although the domain name purchase price must be paid).

You may up to 28 days cancel the contract with Argyll Web Design subject to a 50% cancellation charge of the package or products chosen.

You may cancel any contract after 28 days however you will be required to pay for all services and work undertaken up to the date of cancellation.

10) Site Homing

All sites and media created by Argyll Web Design must reside on our servers for the duration of the products life time. Your site will be reliant on data services provided by Argyll Web Design and must be local to access these.

You may make a single copy of your web site offline for a third party to update if you wish. And upon cancellation of your package or services you may at any time request transfer of your domain name to a third party subject to a standard administration charge not exceeding £35.00 + VAT.
